Min Deng, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Texas Tech University
Dr. Min Deng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at Texas Tech University. He is the director of the Human-centered Automation & Robotics for Modern Optimized NetworkedSystems(HARMONY) Lab. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Michigan. Additionally, he earned Master’s degrees in Intelligent Building Technology and Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Environment Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Dr. Deng's research focuses on utilizing advanced computational methods, such as digital twins and artificial intelligence, to enhance interactions between humans, robots, and the built environment. His work aims to improve construction efficiency, advance building management, and promote human well-being within the built environment.
