Dr. Min Deng is the director of the Human-centered Automation & Robotics for Modern Optimized Networked Systems (HARMONY) Lab. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Michigan. Additionally, he earned Master’s degrees in Intelligent Building Technology and Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Environment Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Dr. Deng's research focuses on utilizing advanced computational methods, such as digital twins and artificial intelligence, to enhance interactions between humans, robots, and the built environment.
